Weiß noch nicht was die Ursache war. Den Rest gegeben hat ihm wohl ein automatisches Update. Eigentlich wollte ich das nicht ausführen aber als ich wieder rein geschaut hab war er schon am installieren. Nach dem Neustart nur die Musik von Asus zu hören (BIOS geht) und dann im oberen linken Bildschirmrand nur "missing operating system".

Hmmm ja. Also Robin (IT aus der Arbeit) hat ihm nur das DVD Laufwerk abgedreht weil das wohl die Schwierigkeiten beim Booten verursacht hat. Er ist ja jetzt auch noch super gelaufen ohne Mucken zu machen. Verstehe selbst nicht wie ein Update das komplette Betriebssystem zerschießen kann.
Na ja, jetzt wie beschrieben "missing operating system".
Weiß nicht ob er übers externe Laufwerk und der Recovery DVD überhaupt irgendwas übernimmt. Ausserdem habe ich echt keinen Plan wie das geht oder wie man das macht. Und wer weiß ob nicht das Motherboard oder andere Innereien kaputt sind. Ich kann für mich hier nur aufgeben.

Schonmal probiert einfach Betriebssystem neu zu installieren?
Probiers einfach mal übers Externe. Aber durch nen Update ?? :huh:

Sonst könnste dir iwo ne ISO aus der Recovery machen lassen und die dann von nen UsbSTick Booten

@Lydi: theoretisch kann ein Update schon etwas zerschießen, aber das wäre schon komisch. Glaube ich nicht wirklich. Ich hatte bei deiner ersten Schilderung vor ein paar Tagen auch schon an das Board gedacht. Es hat ja auch schon ein paar Jährchen auf dem Buckel. Aber so eine Ferndiagnose zu stellen ist schon sehr schwer

. Kannst du deinen Kollegen nicht noch mal fragen. Bei der Frisur wird er dir doch bestimmt helfen
